Getting There
Alien Rock is easily accessible by bus. The following LRT bus routes stop either just outside or round the corner.
- 7 - Newhaven - Bridges - Cameron Toll - Liberton
- 11 - Ocean terminal - Newhaven - Princes Street - Morningside
- 10 - Newhaven - Princes Street - Tollcross - Firhill
- 16 - Silverknowes - Granton - Leith - Princes Street - Tollcross - Morningside - Oxgangs - Hunter's Tryst / Colinton

The Climbing

Leading
There are 12 leading lines, they are all over hanging to a degree. Routes are changed frequently.

Top Roping
There are 40 Top Roping lines. Slabs, vertical walls and overhangs are all catered for.

Bouldering
There is a small bouldering wall upstairs, which is good for warming up, but for proper bouldering head to the nearby sister facility Alien 2.
