Help:Adding news

We're really keen to have folk add news to the wiki as and when it happens, so here are a few guidelines to get you going.
- Firstly, you'll want to got to the News page and add a link to your news item. Load up the page and click the edit tab at the top of the page.
- Add your link with the following style above the last news item.
*[[News item title]] - dd/mm/yyyy A short description of the news.
- Please get the formatting right as it makes our lives easier and makes the site look way better.
- Once you've added the text save the page and then click the link you just made.
- Once the editing form has loaded you can add your text with the following formatting:
''Your Name - dd/mm/yyyy'' The text of the news item should go here. Make it as short or as long as you like, but keep it factual and in the third person.
- If you want to add some pictures, feel free to do so.
- Hit preview to see what it's going to look like and if you're happy, hit save.
- That's really all there is to it although you should know that new news does not show up on the Main Page until it has been approved by one of the staff.
