Loudoun Hill is volcanic plug just outside the town of Darvel and Strathaven. There are three faces of Trachyte climbing to be had here.

Approach
Here is a link to WikiMapia showing the location of Loudoun Hill. There is a car park off the main road, with a ten minute walk-in on an obvious path.
