SCWiki:Community Portal
From SCWiki
ScottishClimbs is largely constructed from user content; its for you - by you! That means if somethings wrong, don't just moan, put it right. If you think that SC is full of bouldering and sport climbing - then add some trad. Think we are to elitist? add your favourite low grade mecca! Spotted a typo - correct it.
There is lots of help on getting started on the help pages, and don't worry about getting it wrong to start with - mistakes are easily corrected and we would much rather you submitted something that needed a bit of tidying up, than nothing. A good starting place is the terminology section - have a play!
Updates
26 October 2006
The nights are getting longer and I'm starting to get some motivation to do some work on SCWiki which, hopefully, means that within the next few weeks we'll have all of the content moved from the main site to the wiki. After that we can start to make plans for actually migrating fully.
On another note, I've added a page, The Foreign Office, where you'll be able to find everything that's about climbing in other countries. This is something that we wanted to do when we were designing SC3, but forgot to add when we started developing the wiki.
