I believe the list to be: Cubby, Dunne, Frodo, Spider, Macleod, Cassidy. As far as I can make out from the rumors Parnaby never redponted it as that wasn't his style. Legend has it he screamed as he fell "End of a dream, end of a dream!" BUT, there may be another ascensionist...

Was at Pen Trwyn and some geezer from Sheffield overheard me talking about Requiem and said he had done it back in 1990 after "Dunney". I would normally take someones word for it but that slipped under the radar as far as I know. Anybody know better? Cheers, Alan

Tony Simpson did it with pre-placed gear in 1990. Craig hasn't done it. dmac

I knew you would know Dave, as keeper of the faith. I think the guy was called Tony so that would account for that. So will McNair get the first onsight only time will tell.
