Coigach
From ScottishClimbs
Coigach (Scottish Gaelic: A' Chòigeach) is the peninsula north of Ullapool, in Wester Ross in the Northwest Highlands of Scotland. It abuts Assynt further to the north. There's quite a few attractions for climbers. Reiff's single pitch sea cliff climbing, with over 500 routes on quality hard sandstone proves a popluar draw. The striking nose of Sgurr an Fhidhleir can't fail to catch your eye, and of course there's the nations darling, Stac Pollaidh. Coigach also provides a departure point for the Summer Isles
