Dave MacLeod (need I mention the name ?) has established Scotlands hardest boulder problem to date with his ascent of Sabotage' Font 8a+ at Dumbarton Rock.

The problem takes the obvious line of a 60 Deg hanging roof/prow under the BNI slab. He finally managed to crack the sequence leading from a sitting start under the prow, through some desperate moves to a fighting finish to mantle the lip onto BNI direct. Bugged out that the line would go, Dave sunk nearly a month into trying the problem exclusively to get his reward.

An awesome effort to finalise what many called Dumbartons last great problem, lucky theres space left up on the main crag yet.

Dave also been filmed on a repeat ascent by BBC Scotland! Coming to a screen near you...

Im sure Dave's glad the first ascent didn't go to the other guy ;)
