The 25th Dundee Mountain Film Festival runs from the 21st - 24th November 2007.

Highlights include:

Wednesday 21st November

  • 7.30pm : Andy Cave "Learning to Breathe" . Tower Lecture Theatre, Dundee University: £7

Friday 23rd November

  • 7.00pm : Borge Ousland "Against all Odds to the North Pole in Winter" (plus films). Bonar Hall: £10

Saturday 24 November

  • 9.30am : Will Gadd "The Documentary Myth - How we really make adventure TV explained" (plus films including Will Gadd's "Aweberg"). Bonar Hall: £6
  • 2.00pm : Marko Prezelj "Based on True Stories" (plus films). Bonar Hall. £8
  • 7.00pm: Stephen Venables "Higher Than The Eagle Soars". Bonar Hall. £10

Thursday 22 November

  • 8.30pm: Two film excerpts from "St Kilda - A European Opera", followed by discussion with the film makers.

Saturday 24 November

  • (no details of time): Film "Fatima's Hand", 2006: 38 minutes. A German film where a 27-yr old woman from Norway plans to climb then BASE jump off a remote imposing mountain in Mali, West Africa.
