James Edwards - 11th March 8.30pm

James is an esteemed mountain guide resident in Scotland and has climbed, walked and explored throughout the UK, Europe, North Africa, New Zealand and the high Himalaya. He specialises in climbing in remote locations and has made many first ascents along the course of his travels. His talk will focus on the rewards and challenges of organising an expedition, and will hopefully prove you don't have to wear your underwear on the outside of your water-proofs in order to have an adventure!

Hosted by the Edinburgh University Mountaineering Club.

Venue: Lecture Theatre 183, Old College,South Bridge

Concession/Full price: £5/£6 per lecture or £12/£15 for all three. Tickets can be purchased from Tiso, Rose Street, at 5/1 Nicolson Street or on the door. All proceeds will be split equally between Mountain Rescue and the purchase of equipment for the club, allowing new members to experience the joys of mountaineering.
