Stevie Christie - 16/12/2003

After the success of the 2003 Edinburgh Mountain Film Festival organisers are already looking for new material for the 2004 festival. Films up to 30 mins will be considered (longer films if they are exceptional) but shorts of 5-15 minutes are particularly welcomed. These can focus on anything to do with the outdoors - bouldering, winter climbing, trad routes, Deep Water Soloing, Jack Russells.....!!!

Not forgetting snowsports, watersports or any other subject with a mountain, wilderness or adventurous theme.

Readers may also be interested to note that a photography competition will be running next year.

There are two categories for photos:

  1. Hanging on
  2. Cold but happy

Given the second category readers might appreciate the early tip off to gather material this winter.

Full details of both how to submit a film and for the photography competition are on the website at www.edinburghmountainff.com
