New Bouldering Wall planned for Glasgow
From ScottishClimbs
Bristol's dedicated bouldering facility, The Climbing Academy, is planning on opening up a Glasgow venue.
The Climbing Academy is planning to open a dedicated bouldering facility in the old News International building on Portman Street (Google Streetview). The facility hopes to offer;"...well over 1000 sq metres plus of climbing surface, a good sized cafe, small gear shop, treatment room, and of course the ‘gucci’ toilets and changing facilities our customers have come to expect"
If all goes according to plans then work should start in June with the facility opening in the Autumn of 2010, just in time for the Winter.
