New Winter Extreme From MacLeod

After a busy week on the Marshall Smith Challenge Dave MacLeod has been back at the first ascent game. Having contemplated it for some time, Dave finally took on the challenge of making a winter ascent of his own route Anubis - an E8 in summer - on Ben Nevis.
More details can be found on Dave's blog. The grade could weigh in at XI-XII, and - if confirmed - this would break new ground in Scottish winter climbing standards.
