Scots 1st,2nd,3rd in Blackpool

Scottish, and Scotland-based climbers all put in a great showing at the British Lead Climbing Championships in Blackpool this weekend. Star of the weekend was Johnny Stocking, who used all his potential and promise to good use coming 1st and winning his first national title, proving he is the man to watch out for in the future. Natalie Berry was narrowly pipped to 2nd place denying her her umpteenth British title. In the senior men Alan Cassidy managed to top the final to recover from qualifying in 6th to come 3rd overall, but was denied a superfinal by the countback rule.
