Following on from Mick Fowlers lecture on the 19th Jan, the second E5 lecture of the series will see Sam Chinnery talking about his recent greater ranges exploits.

In addition to being one of Scotland's top winter climbers, Sam has been quietly ticking away at Greater Ranges mega routes over the past five years. These have included trips to Nepal, South America and Alaska where he has climbed some of the most impressive alpine routes by any Brit in recent times. Highlights include the second ascent of the infamous Lowe/Breashers route on the North Face of Kwangde Lho and more recently a stylish first ascent of a massive, 1500m gully system on the South East Face of Mount Dickey in Alaska. Add to this Sam's interest in photography and you have a stunning and inspirational evening of greater ranges gnarl. This is one lecture not to be missed...
