Climbing partner wanted NE

I am looking to get out climbing as much as the wife will allow. I work offshore but I am home for 2 weeks at a time and I am free most days when I am back. I am climbing about VS 4c or 6a, this is on a good day. I much prefer trad but realise that its easier to get more mileage with sport. Also keen to get down the wall either AVW or Transition at the moment till the good weather returns.

Cheers Dom

Is it a room, or a flat you're after?

SusanG09:25, 7 October 2010

I may have a room to rent around that time. Do you live in Edinburgh at the moment?

Climbing partner wanted

Hi folks, i am just getting back into climbing after a few years out the game. I have been to Alien Rock, blackford, the crags and Ratho a few times to boulder but really want to get climbing..only problem is i have nobody to go with. I have a harness and a 70m rope and a few other bits. I am usually off mid week but am free every evening. My mobile is 07999539958 or email, can fire me a text or email and arrange to meet up.

climbing partner wanted for this weekend

Hey all

Increasingly good forecast for the west coast (glen coe, glen nevis) for Sun and Mon. There should be a good breeze and some sunshine.

My regular partners can't make it this weekend, so I was wondering if anyone is up for some getting together for the west coast. Would also consider other areas in Scotland.

Looking at VS-E1 climbing but can second harder routes.

Have all the gear and a car. Will be travelling from Glasgow.

Let me know if you're interested !

Many thanks Bjorn : 07841567135

Wed-Fri/wkend - Gairloch area pref, or Caithness / Creag Dubh??

Very keen to get out this week - was due to be in Gairloch area but partner's plans changed. Am free from tomorrow (Wed) and ready to get moving ASAP. Forecast is GOOD at time of posting:

Would prefer to go to Gairloch - keen to visit Tollie Crags and Loch Maree before they get too midgey, happy to combine with the huge choice of crags in the Gairloch / Gruinard area - loads to do at whatever standard. Failing that I'd also be keen to explore the Caithness area or Creag Dubh and stuff around Aviemore.

I'm experienced and good with ropework, leading E2-ish, very happy to second easier stuff, and am a positive and encouraging partner. Have car and all the kit. Can give lifts from Central Belt or en-route, especially if a partner can stay and include the weekend.

Please email me at fiendophobia [at] googlemail [dot] com or txt 07958 343645. I am ready to go!

Perth based climber seeks mid week climbing partners

Anyone out there free for mid week climbing? I am 48, 20+ years trad experience, happy leading Severe - E1, seconding to E2, have car and all equipment, potentially available whenever the weather is right. Particularly keen on multi day trips to North Highland outcrops, at least until the midges arrive in force, and mountain crags.

If interested, contact me on:
