Traprain Law Update

From ScottishClimbs

Jump to: navigation, search

After the recent fire at the popular Traprain Law, East Lothian Council are trying to assess the damage to the crags. Because the fire went deep into the peat layer underpinning the rocks, there is a danger that there may be loose rock or the belay points may be dodgy. Climbers are advised to take extra care at the law.

The Council would be very grateful of any reports regarding the rock stability from climbers. Please contact Alastair Seagroatt with information.
